Nice man, dumb question but is that the same card?


Recent pickups on my end:


I've been looking for a JWill stadium club rc parallel but figured, why not pick up an authenticated auto for a fraction of the price instead? Really like the colored holofoil on this card and the bold silver auto. The Tyrese is the big acquisition; big addition to that PC plus my biggest laser card so pretty happy about that too. The Vlade puts me one away from completing the full Kings set in emerald and ruby. The Duncan was just hard to resist at $3 shipped.

Yea, there's actually 2 in this redemption set. Not sure if I ever posted the other one here. Even the redeemable cards looked nice though, they were etched foil (and with different photos) instead of the film strip style.
Love the Jwill auto btw, the silver works perfectly.

Yea, it took me a while to grab both film versions. Had a foil copy for a long time.

Big Kobe pickup came in today! Really love the look of this card. Love those 90's inserts!

This is filthy. You might've heard me mention on a past episode of Wax Museum about how I can't stand the "newer" version Magic unis. I've stayed away from buying his cards in that uniform.

One of the only exceptions I can see myself making is for his Pure Players because of its particular action shot, but it's such a cool speckle/E-X Century Credentials Now effect. Also love the intersecting circles going on, really makes it feel like an Upper Deck design.

Those atrocities were like the JNCO jeans equivalent to basketball jerseys.

Great additions! Especially love the IT, one of my favorite players. From a 60th pick to an MVP candidate in that one magical season in Boston.

Awesome card!! I really like the addition of cards like this in Flawless that aren't just purely cropped player photos on white backgrounds with foil. They add a necessary change in pace to the product. Are you hoping to add any Panini Duncan autos now that he's signing for them? I feel like his Topps autos are a bit cheaper now than they've been since the boom, so I'm hoping to scoop one of those up potentially. But I'd be happy with a Panini auto too.

I keep an eye out for oddball random Pacers stuff for Kyle and Nuggets stuff for Ryan. Got a small stash for Ryan already. I can start keeping an eye out for Kings stuff too.

Nah I don't do Funco Pops. To be blunt I can't stand them. I think they're the ugliest toys ever created and take up way too much space. I have 2 super early Punisher ones in my unopened Punisher toy collection that I got when they first came out before there were a million variations and don't plan on picking up any more. My girlfriend has like 10 of them, and one of my roommates has like 400 of them. If people like them, good for them. Just aint for me.

I know a lot of people that feel the way you do about Funko pops, there was someone who went on a huge diatribe on BO once about how they border on like big brother type mindsets. I got a Duncan and JWill slam one from amazon clearance for a couple bucks each to try them out. You're darn right about the space they take up. Those boxes are friggin huge for what's inside.
