What do you all think about this? Are loaded boxes being given out to influences and celebrities in order to prop up box sales? Real or just coincidence?

This could’ve been covered already, but how much product was Cade involved with opening? All I know is that he pulled 2 autos of himself, so if he didn’t open more than say a handful of boxes….

With Cade, wouldn’t it imply Panini was okay giving a juiced box to promote WhatNot? Seems like a lot.

But after the Fanatics stuff recently and with my generally skeptical mind I’d have a hard time being convinced in all cases.

So check this one out.. What are the chances that Griezmann miraculously pulls a Jackie Robinson cut auto from some random box on camera? Then Rubin proceeds to pull a Trout auto right afterwards.. lol

It's so obvious here it's sad, but this is the type of promotion i'm expecting we'll continue seeing more and more of as Fanatics makes their push into the hobby.

Yeah the larger issue IMO is they don't disclose if these are loaded or hit organically. I have a hard time believing that they are working with these athletes and busting enough product to pull these hits randomly. They're paying them, the camera person, and whoever else is involved in the production of these videos. They aren't going to just grab some random boxes and hope for the best.

The card industry being unregulated is likely going to allow this to continue unless enough people call it out and it generates more negative press than positive. It's like a pharmaceutical company promoting their "magic pill" that will solve all your problems. If they weren't required to disclose all the side effects, suggestions to seek medical advice, etc.. they definitely wouldn't. You'd just see all these happy people walking around trying to convince you that taking pills will turn you into those same happy people, when the reality is there's a ton of different factors at play. And that might be a bit of an extreme example  but we all know just because you buy a sports card product your aren't magically pulling the top hits either.
