The Hobby Boards

I've been collecting the 57 set for years now and have had thoughts about trying to get a signed copy of every card. I quickly realized the costs for that would be insane. So instead, I elected to try a custom auto card set using autos I already had or ones that are cheaper to acquire. For example, I used a signed book for this Russell cut (I think I bought the book years ago for $50).
I just finished wave 3 of the set and I'm happy with how they turned out. They aren't perfect, but they look pretty good in a toploader binder. I think I'm going to eventually include coaches as well (I have a nice Auerbach cut that would work perfectly)!

Dude this is freaking sweet. Your design is top notch. Keep this thread bumped.

I've got 2 cards left to go - not necessarily tough ones either. It's just a matter of finding the right combo of low-grade/SGC slab/price!

Wave 5 is pretty small...but progress is progress!

Best custom idea you've executed yet. I absolutely love the way these turned out.
