Grabbed this recently and it arrived today. For $60 this seemed like a no-brainer.

Thanks! I hadn’t really considered how great they’d look as patches especially with gold foil. It’s funny because I think people generally agree that those Kings golds are historically ugly lolReggieEvansPC wrote: Mon Jul 07, 2025 9:28 pm

DUDE! Same here. Shit, unless it's a color match, the base color foils tend to suck ass. Even the gold / silver foils which are...whatever, kinda' cool.........there's NO HOLOFOIL, just an example of Panini getting cheap / lazy. They instead reserve the holofoils for the 1/1 most times and sometimes you'll get them on the gold stuff, wtf? Why -- what were they thinking with the green and red foils lol?SacKingsCards wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 6:44 pmThis is one of the gripes I have with Panini patches. I was looking at some Flawless patches today and even some of the lower numbered ones /5-/15 are regular foil. Like what's up with that? How are you giving me a patch /5 in a $5,000 box and skimping on the holofoil?AbraCalabro wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 5:01 pm Thanks dude, love this card, it's instantly one of my favorites, amazing holofoil on here too as you already know from the LBJ you have!![]()

SacKingsCards wrote: Thu Jul 10, 2025 11:04 pm My IT collection got…better…today.
Unremarkable story of how I got the cards: the top six cards were part of a lot a seller posted for sale a couple days ago in BST on here. He ended up being local to me according to his profile, so I offered a local deal to save him on shipping and fees. We met up and he ended up being a collector moving out of the country and trying to move all his cards. In that vein, he showed me his last two IT cards (NT RPA and immaculate insignias) since I had told him the ITs were really what I wanted from his lot, and added them for a very reasonable price. Super pumped that the Immaculate is a game worn rookie too.

I'll probably be following suit with some low end / high grade MJ stuff, but in BGS only.ChrisP57 wrote: Fri Jul 11, 2025 11:33 am I've been wanting to pick up some early 90's MJ base cards as they bring back so many memories as a kid and a lot of them look great. I started with these two

so the Garnett is cool but that Iverson is Purdy! love that set (honestly a bit more than the numbered version..)BucksInSix wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 10:27 am
Also, an update to another steal from back in March. Picked up an Iverson 2004/05 Upper Deck Flight Team Rainbow for $25. PSA pop count in 20 years since it released stood at (2) both PSA 7. Got my reveal the other day. Very happy to have the highest graded. I usually don’t care about grading, but older sets that have quality issues, I can make an exception.
super fun one to pick up. i dont think a ton of people think of these which to me makes em even better... these are the ones that people will in 10 years and ask "what the hell is that?"ChrisP57 wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 10:30 am Final Mailday of the month. Love picking up Lebron Rookie when I can
fun set! i thought about collecting it way back when i pulled a Wilt, but like an idiot, i sold it instead. on one hand, im happy its stayed relatively cheap but on the other hand i want it to be recognized because it looks great.ChrisP57 wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:01 am Been wanting a Game Used Cousy forever since he doesn't have very much out there and finally got one!
Spurs patches can be incredibly boring or beautiful... no in between. good job grabbing one of the second option!Duncancollector wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 1:02 pm Here is my latest pick up. I was on a german cardshow yesterday.

sometimes it doesn't quite hit till ya roll it up and take a snort!darz90scardz wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 6:58 am I know this set has always been one of the more popular inserts, but it took a while for it to grow on me and actually pick one up.
There are more subdued lenticular inserts, and then there's this. Reminds me of a literal bike reflector, or like it was lined with 3m visibility strips.
An interesting detail from the designer herself is that they didn't want to add stock underneath the lenticular layer to make it rigid/thicker, otherwise they'd be detectable in packs.
Which I get, but it makes you wonder why they had no issue doing it with previous lenticular cards inserted in standard thickness sets, like 96-97 Fleer Thrill Seekers, for example.
Maybe they just learned their lesson by the time Thunder was released. Anyway, as a result of using only a lenticular layer, they're fully bendable.

ugh!!! why does it seem like everybody can find a Sam Jones Patch except ME!!!!!!!
Yeah I mean I guess I get it on some level: you have to make the “better” stuff stand out? But that didn’t seem to be an issue in those 2000s releases where patch sets like your KG had lots of holofoil and multi color/break patches even numbered /75.AbraCalabro wrote: Fri Jul 11, 2025 5:57 pmDUDE! Thanks man! It was by far the most appealing card to me in the lot being game worn, rookie, and /2. I didn’t realize some of those early jumbo patches in immaculate were numbered so low. Might instantly be one of my favorite cards.
