I have the same thought about super teams, but the league is different nowadays and I'd imagine it being a much more complicated environment for players to navigate. Dame gave it his all with little to show for it, so can't blame him for wanting to go to a team that's ready to make it deep in the playoffs.

Obi Toppin trade is whatever to me. Pacers fans generally seem to love the move but the dude's been garbage in the 10-15 games I've seen of him in the NBA. I hope my sample size is just bad and he proves me wrong.
