And then this one, which Deadshot picked up for me at a show in Florida, and then brought it with him to Indy for the Midwest Monster show. I've been after one of these for probably around a year, but I kept getting outbid on them. Kyle found this one at a show, called me, and informed me of the asking price. It was a better price than the copy I had just been outbid on via ebay less than a week prior, so I sent him the money right away.

I love these Starring Roles inserts, I have a Griffey in baseball as well (though those are die cut). Another crazy thing is, a Jordan PSA 8 from this sells for $2k. I paid around $100 after tax and shipping for this Shaq

First off, I love those Hill diecuts, especially the Holoview. All timer of a set.

But holy mother of pearl, deng, if you ever consider moving that penny in any way, shape or form, please reach out to me. Insane additions, holy crap man.

Super excited about today's mailday. I've had the 2002-03 Topps Chrome MJ Black Refractor for a years and I've always wanted to pair it with the White Refractor. Finally picked one up off Fanatics auction a couple weeks ago

I know this is unlicensed but to me this is really cool because not only is it game dated but it's tied to an important milestone in Wemby's career. This card has a piece of the jersey Wemby wore when he scored 50 points for the first time in his career

Took me long enough for this one. Just wanted a nicer copy. Peel text is still on the face a bit more than I'd like, but I'll take decent color w/ coating. Whenever I noticed one available for sale, it was slime time.

I've strayed for too long - I could use some help from the old heads here.

Does anyone remember these redemption cards or has anyone seen another? Trying to assess the validity of the Odom and more realistically, how did this survive (e.g. bankruptcy, backdoor or actually pack placed).




The original sell sheet for 2000-01 Fleer Futures originally included 19 planned signers (theres a sales sheet for sale on eBay). By the time the set came out the checklist was down to 12 players with 5 as redemptions /240. 2 of those redemptions, Lamar Odom and Jerry Stackhouse were “never produced.”

Unclear what that means - I cannot find another photo of this redemption card for any player in the set online (outside the picture for sales listing for this card). The hand numbering checks out visually to common skybox/fleer serial numbering from the era. Perhaps this survived pack pulling and the never produced is the actual redeemed card? Perhaps this is a bankruptcy copy despite most of those not being numbered, if one were in there an unpacked redemption would make sense?
