Re: Horizontal Binder Pages?
Has anyone tried these yet? I actually have a horizontal insert set I'm slowly working on...hmmm. They're kinda expensive on Amazon, but I might have to pick some up "for science"
Have not tried the BCW ones personally.
Have an opened UltraPro one I can't return and won't use - if you need ...

Horizontal Binder Pages?
Has anybody here used BCW's 8 Pocket Laser Weld Horizontal card pages, and would recommend them?
I typically use UltraPro for my pages. Their silver series kinda sucks, but their platinum series is phenomenal.

Re: 2007-08 Artifacts Relics - Possible Source Material?
Very cool, thanks for sharing. I'm somewhat surprised it's not more universal, but I'm sure for big sets like this they just compile together whatever they can. The All star game ones seem much cooler to me.
I didn't quite do a full deep dive yet, but it appears there was another set floating ...

2007-08 Artifacts Relics - Possible Source Material?
Inspired by a recent card seen in a WaxMuseum video (2007-08 UD Artifacts, Divisional artifacts, Walt Frazier relic noted to be sourced from an All-Star Game.

Wow these look great. Thank you!
Do you have problems with cards shaking around in some of the mags or does the sleeve avoid that completely? Sometimes I have to fold a penny sleeve and put it behind the card to keep it from shaking around

Re: Magnetics storage?
I've had this problem with BCW when I was buying their mags in bulk, decided to ditch them altogether. Of all the Ultra Pro I've purchased, only one of them had the inverted magnet, but it's still annoying.
I haven't had this issue with ProMold or GTI mags and those are both superior to Ultra ...

Magnetics storage?
I love one touch cases. Over the last couple of years I have used BCW and UltraPro one touches to encase & store all my HOF autos and higher end cards that dont end up in binders.
I store them all in 3 row boxes
The problem I have noticed, is that some of the UltraPro sizes have inverted magnet ...

Re: "Certifications" on Relic cards
I don't know if the timing lines up, but there were some major errors in 2014 Flawless football if I remember right. I figure some of the changes might be to cover them in case they happen again (this is pure speculation though).
I was not collecting then (came back during the Covid hype), do ...

RIP to one of the most genuine off the court players. My Dad ran into him on vacation once and had nothing but nice things to say about him. A real shame and gone way too soon.

Personally I'm a huge fan and chasing the multi year Spectra Hall of Fame signatures, 45 card set of blue ink on card shiny stock prizm autos.
Also can't beat 90s Autographics, and these 05-06 Trilogy Auto Focus with their "glass stock" are beautiful, especially in a nice one touch (the scan from ...

"Certifications" on Relic cards
Recently I fell in love with the 2012-13 & 2013-14 Panini Stat Line jersey cards.
Both sets feature 25 card sets of rather large jersey swatches (and a prime variation) game dated to the "stat line" corresponding with the front of the card. Despite being just 1 year apart, the language on the back ...

Re: Base Card Set Building Strategies?
I'd suggest researching any set you're about to start building. Sometimes sets have quirks, but if you're only sticking to base and base level inserts, then you have parameters you're following and anything outside of that is disregarded. I'm bringing this up because when I built the Skybox ...

Re: Card Storage/Organising?
As the skipper (MindCycle) knows, I am 100% a “Binder guy.” It just makes for much more satisfying viewing. The cards stay in much better shape than is said “on the streets,” though of course nothing beats graded/Mag’d protection. Just takes the fun out of it for me.
I collect all “good baseball ...

Re: Unable to find my card on any set checklist
I doubt the card is fake, but do you have any pics you can share? Your mention of the license being lost around 2010 probably has a lot to do with it. If you go back to the earlier Fleer bankruptcy sale circa 2005 there were a lot of cards that slipped out into the wild, so I'd imagine the loss of ...

Re: Card Storage/Organising?
Are there any good 3 ring binders for base cards that you guys would recommend? Ideally if I can move pages around and move ...
